About this course

As we work on our own personal growth, evolution and reinvention, we are forced to take stock of where we are now. Not only where we are, in the geographic sense, but where we are in our psyche. Emotionally. Spiritually. Socially. 

You see, while the human existence spans decades and countries, it’s inexplicably interwoven with social constructs. Our jobs, in a sense, give us a sense of where we fit into society’s structure. Our relationship status tells us, and those around us, more than we might care to admit. The car we drive, or how our children behave, or the color of the shirt you’re wearing right now — all of these are visible reminders of who we are, what we do, how we think and how we perceive the world around us. 

Or is it? 

You see, all these things are artificial. While they might arise from some sense of identity, they aren’t your true identity. While labels we apply to ourselves and to others might help us navigate social situations, make small talk, and categorize the experiences we have, they’re just ego-driven perceptions that we apply and layer over the true reality. 

If we are to reinvent ourselves and live in closer alignment with the divine spark, passion and dreams of who we are and who we’re meant to become, we must do the emotional and spiritual work of identifying the labels we use, bringing our awareness to who we think we are, and shedding the baggage of our current false identity.
